Why buy them gin for Christmas when you can give them a distillery?

Today marks the crème de la crème of business opportunities for booze lovers everywhere.

The Oxford Artisan Distillery (TOAD) have today announced that they are open for the public to buy shares in the distillery. [caption id=“attachment_32152” align=“alignleft” width=“300”] Tom Nicolson, founder of TOAD[/caption] Each share costs a grand total of £10 which can be bought as a Christmas present, hence ‘why buy them gin for Christmas when you can give them a distillery?’ The idea behind the crowd funding project is to encourage consumers to invest in sustainable businesses which, in TOAD’s case, means working to establish organic farming as the most progressive way to move forward. The crowd fund will be running for 30 days and those who invest shares over £200 will in return retrieve a whole range of rewards including free tours, and discounts off TOAD’s delicious products.
