Summer makes a comeback with the return of Simon Mayor and his Mandolinquents

Local favourite Simon Mayor and his Mandolinquents return to Arlington Arts on Friday May 4.

As spring turns to summer join Simon Mayor and his merry crew of Mandolinquents for an uplifting evening of virtuosic masterpieces, light-hearted limericks and much laughter. This special evening of new songs and instrumentals (from their forthcoming CD) also features more from Simon’s new book ‘Of Death and a Banana Skin’ including Reading’s greatest claim to fame, the Number One hit song of all time from the 13th Century, ‘sumer is icumen in’. As well as mandolins of all sizes, guitars, banjos, violin and voice you just never know what surprise guests will pop up!
