Guilty, I'll be the one that ate all the pies

Pie hard fans rejoice! The Sun at Lydiard bring back their Pie Fest Saturday 26 August to Monday 28 August.

Over the course of the bank holiday weekend The Sun will be serving pies upon pies from 1pm to 9pm, and Monday 1pm to 6pm. An impressive selection of 14 varieties of pie will be on offer which will accommodate meat eaters and vegetarians. There will also be a three-bean chilli and soup available for vegans, and attendees not so pie-eyed. The weekend will also include a host of local and national real ales, a tent full of cider, and live music. The event is family friendly, completely free to attend, and all pies come with mash (or chips), and gravy for £6. Pie Fest also operates with its own ‘Sun Money’ currency for outside food and drinks which can be purchased on the day. The Sun will soon be revealing the full mash-up on their Facebook page - The Sun at Lydiard.
