The brew will be available from pubs across the Wadworth estate throughout December. The 4.1% beer is a mid-amber ale brewed using Pale Ale, Crystal and Chocolate malts, combined with Goldings, Cascade, Willamette and Challenger hops. Dray Bells epitomises the taste of Christmas; Wadworth includes cinnamon, orange peel, allspice and nutmeg during the brewing process to add sweet scents of satsuma and a hint of spice to the taste. Andy Weaver, head brewer at Wadworth, comments: “Dray Bells, which uses the most festive ingredients to get our customers into the Christmas spirit, has been a well-loved seasonal ale. “While this is the last time that Dray Bells will be brewed, Wadworth has more exciting seasonal ales up its sleeve for 2018 so watch this space!”
