In less than one month’s time, the gates to Hampton Court Palace will swing open to welcome 2023’s edition of the prestigious Hampton Court Palace Festival. Taking place between 6 – 17 June, the highly anticipated concerts feature a plethora of music icons; Gladys Knight, Tom Jones, Grace Jones, Soft Cell, Kool & The Gang, Kaiser Chiefs, Björn Again and Rick Astley. Vocal powerhouse and 7-time Grammy winner Gladys Knight will open this year’s festival on 6 June, for what will be the only London show of her Farewell Tour. She is renowned for her string of universal hits, including US #1’s Midnight Train to Georgia and That’s What Friends Are For. As a member of Gladys Knight & The Pips, her tracks Take Me In Your Arms and Love MeI Heard It Through The Grapevine and It Should Have Been Me are instantly recognised the world over.
 
Synth-pop duo Soft Cell burst onto the British music scene with the all-conquering hit single Tainted Love, which reached the top of the UK singles chart in 1981. Their headline performance at Hampton Court Palace on 7 June will see the duo perform all of their greatest hits, including Tainted Love, Say Hello, Wave GoodbyeTorchWhat, and Bedsitter
 
The legendary new-wave singer and songwriter Grace Jones will perform on 8 June. Famed for her post-punk style and electrifying live performances, fans can look forward to hearing unforgettable hits including Private LifePull Up To The BumperI’ve Seen That Face Before and Slave To The Rhythm.
 
Celebrated for their R&B, Soul and funk fusion, Kool & The Gang will headline on 9 June. Scoring an incredible 17 top 40 singles in the UK between 1979 and 1985, their immense catalogue of hits includes CelebrationLadies’ NightGet It Down and Joanna.
 
BRIT Award winning indie rockers Kaiser Chiefs have released 7 incredible studio albums so far, including their Mercury nominated debut Employment and no.1 albums Yours Truly, Angry Mob and Education Education Education & War. Undoubtably one of the leading bands of their generation, their set at Hampton Court Palace Festival on 10 June will include all of their biggest hits, including RubyOh My GodI Predict A Riot and Everyday I Love You Less and Less.
 
Bastion of British music Tom Jones returns to the festival for 2023. Taking to the stage on 14 June, he will perform tracks from his formidable catalogue, including It’s Not Unusual, Delilah, What’s New Pussycat, She’s a Lady, and Sex Bomb.
Global sensations Björn Again perform on 16 June, promising a show jam-packed with much-loved ABBA songs. Their internationally acclaimed show has been performed in 71 countries over 35 years, amassing over 5,000 performances and is acknowledged for initiating the ABBA revival.
Finally, legendary pop sensation Rick Astley will bring 2023’s Hampton Court Palace Festival to a close on 17 June. Having shot to fame in 1987 with his smash hit single Never Gonna Give You Up, his debut album Whenever You Need Somebody sold over 5 million copies worldwide, and he achieved further success with singles including Together ForeverWhen I Fall In Love, and Whenever You Need Somebody.
 
Now in its 27th year, Hampton Court Palace Festival presented by heycar is a summer festival like no other which features a series of incredible performances in a truly unique location. Taking place in the Tudor Courtyard of Henry VIII’s majestic palace, the festival gives fans the special opportunity to see world-class artists in an intimate 3,000 capacity setting.
 
Attendees will arrive at the palace gardens and can enjoy a spot of picnicking in the stunning surroundings prior to the concert, with two types of luxury hampers available to pre-order: The Courtier’s Best of British Picnic or The King’s Gourmet Hamper. Supplied by British Fine Foods, hampers will be available with meat or vegetarian options, with the option to add wine or champagne. Picnics can be purchased alongside tickets, or separately as an addition to existing bookings. 
 
This year’s festival will also play host to a mouth-watering line-up of delicious street food vendors. Back by popular demand, Poor Boys return with their iconic buttermilk fried chicken dishes, and The BBQ Depot will serve up their award winning juicy pulled meats. Fresh wood fired pizza will come from Craft & Crust, while Curry Bae will cook up a storm with their delectable Indian food, and Project D will dish out delightful doughnuts. 
 
A wide range of premium drinks will also be on offer, from glorious summer cocktails and the Canned Wine Co’s refreshing quality wine, to Portobello Brewery’s craft ale and hot beverages from Collectors Coffee.
