The sun shone and the crowds were ecstatic at this year’s Lechlade Festival which closed on Sunday evening.

Festival goers who turned out in their thousands were given a musical treat as acts like The Hoosiers, Dr Feelgood, The Lambrettas all took to the stage.

There was so much to do from the event’s brilliant family attractions to the more adult burlesque shows.

One act that we caught was Other Animals - a nine-piece orchestra hailing from Melbourne, Australia.

A 9 piece indie orchestra from Oz

The band blended big choruses with heartfelt emotion and soaring vocals which makes you think they drink from the same well of invention to the likes of Radiohead and Jeff Buckley.

The band arrange orchestral flutes, violins, clarinets and trumpets against a theatrical rhythm section and monstrous rock vocals.

They were definitely a hit with the crowd especially when the stage was invaded by children.
