Arlington Arts brings to you Nick Harper: A Wiltshire Tale on Friday May 18.

A Wiltshire Tale is a journey through Wiltshire’s history, landscape and wildlife. Depicted through the voices of three immortal characters, in this one man show, we bear witness to this most magical of counties in spoken word, poetry and live music.

From sell-out tours to a critically acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe Festival run Nick enters his third decade as a performer with a vitality that could put younger musicians to shame. It is no surprise that artists and producers as diverse as Squeeze, Lana Del Rey, Newton Faulkner, Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree), The Levellers, Jakko Jakszyk (Level 42, King Crimson) and legendary producer Tchad Blake have collaborated with him. This is not a man easily pigeonholed into existing musical genres; Nick is very much blazing his own trail.

Tickets are available for £12.50 online at www.arlingtonarts.co.uk, or by calling the Box Office at 01635 244246.

All profits from Arlington Arts Centre go directly to Mary Hare, a school and national charity supporting deaf children.
