Salisbury Playhouse maintains a classic festive offering with a new musical adaption of The Night Before Christmas

Salisbury Playhouse is presenting a brand new musical adaptation of the classic tale of Christmas Eve excitement, The Night Before Christmas, which runs in The Salberg from Monday 5 to Saturday 31 December 2016.

The Night Before Christmas will be performed by an ensemble cast led by Sophie Evans, runner up on the BBC’s Over the Rainbow who subsequently went on to play the role of Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium, and Glyn Kerslake, whose recent work includes London Calling and Come Fly With Me at Salisbury Playhouse, and who has previously played The Phantom in the West End production of The Phantom of the Opera.

Completing the cast are Adrian Grove, whose musical credits include Starlight Express and Les Misérables, and Abigail Jaye, who has performed in the UK tour of Cats and the West End production of Blood Brothers.

The Night Before Christmas is directed by Gareth Machin with arrangements and musical direction by Glyn Kerslake. The productions are designed by Zoe Squire with lighting by Dave Marsh and choreography by Joanne Redman.
