On The Wall Presents Vol 2: Citizen Face

On The Wall returns this month with a fresh new exhibition at Swindon’s Darkroom Espresso Coffee Shop.

As part of their ongoing project, On The Wall - run by Rich Franklin and Stefan Pysanczyn - will be displaying monthly exhibitions at Darkroom. Each exhibition will focus on one particular artists’s work to view throughout the month. For their second exhibition they present Vol 2: Citizen Face.

This coming Sunday from 7pm, March 18, On The Wall and Darkroom Espresso will be hosting a launch party for Citizen Face’s exhibition which, as always, will include live music - Flour Babies and Fabien Darcy - and a bar.

I met up with On The Wall co-founder, Rich, last month to find out what this project is all about. He explained: “On The Wall wants to give people a platform, so every month we’re looking to exhibit an artist’s work in Darkroom and hopefully bring some like-minded people together – we also wanted to use a less conventional venue.

“People in London will put on an event anywhere, and it works. With Swindon we’ve had a few issues with being able to afford venues and find a permanent space, and Will (Darkroom Espresso’s owner) has given that to us.”
