By Tyler Ody

Mitch Benn has recently embarked on his first tour in three years, which will include a Swindon date this December.

Musical satirist, Mitch Benn, will be bringing his tour ‘It’s About Time’ to the Swindon Arts Centre on 2 December.

The show will start at 7.30pm, and tickets can be purchased at https://swindontheatres.co.uk/Online/tickets-mitch-benn-swindon-2022

A spokesperson for the performer said: “If it feels like the past is catching up with us and the future isn’t what it used to be, then fear not!  With clock in one hand and guitar in the other, this show will help you look and laugh at time in a whole new way.”

Mitch Benn was a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4’s The Now Show for more than a decade. His critically acclaimed Edinburgh Show Mitch Benn Is The 37th Beatle was broadcast on BBC Radio 4  and, following on from its success, a further three specials were commissioned on music icons Bob Dylan, David Bowie and Elvis - entitled The Freewheelin Mitch Benn, Mitch Benn Is The Fat Pink Duke and Mitch Benn Has Left The Building.

He also co-presented with Harry Shearer BBC Radio 2’s Anatomy Of A Guitar, and presented Spank The Plank for BBC Radio 4.

Most recent TV and radio appearances include BBC 1’s Celebrity Mastermind and Celebrity University Challenge -he won the former and lost the latter.

He also appeared in Neil Gaiman’s Good Omens and in With Great Pleasure on BBC Radio 4. He writes a weekly column for The New European and is author of the Terra trilogy of Science Fiction novels, the third of which, Terra’s War, was published last year.
