Hop Back Brewery once again sponsors Salisbury Live during the International Festival

Ageas Salisbury International Arts Festival is delighted that local brewery Hop Back Brewery is once again sponsoring Salisbury Live during the Festival fortnight this year.

Salisbury Live is running over all three weekends of the Festival and offering four nights of free gigs held in participating pubs and venues across the city plus live music in the Market Square on Friday 9 June from 12pm to 10pm.

Hop Back Brewery is based in Downton, just outside of Salisbury, and has been operating since 1986. Gaining much recognition within their field, the brewery has produced trend-setting beers through a combination of skilled brewers and top quality ingredients. Hop Back also brew limited edition beers each month to supplement the permanent range of cask ales.

John Gilbert, founder and Chairman of the brewery said: “Hop Back is Salisbury’s own brewer of award winning beers, which have gained accolades both nationally and internationally.  Our beers and pubs continue to be popular in this, our 30th anniversary year.

We have now completed our major refit at the brewery, demonstrating our firm investment in and commitment to continuing future beer production in Salisbury.

We are again delighted to sponsor Salisbury Live and appreciate the hard work and enthusiasm needed to put on such a prestigious event. We wish the organisers and performers all the best”.

Festival Director Toby Smith said: “We are delighted to be working with Hop Back Brewery for a second year, to make Salisbury Live a key part of the Festival fortnight. Salisbury Live is a much loved part of our free programme and sponsors such as Hop Back Brewery help make this exciting strand of the Festival possible”.
