Hazel O’Connor to perform intimate Chippenham show

Award-winning singer songwriter, Hazel O’Connor, will be bringing a rare stripped-back show to Chippenham on Thursday October 12.

The intimate show, which takes place at the Neeld Community and Arts Centre and features a special fan meet and greet, features ex-Bellestars and David Bowie saxophonist Clare Hirst and Eurythmics keyboard player Sarah Fisher.

The superb blend of the three voices and stunning musicianship adds a sweet touch of class to their vibrant performance.

Live onstage, her performance includes unforgettable songs from the iconic film Breaking Glass, which recently celebrated its 35 anniversary, including Eighth Day, Will You, Big Brother, and If Only.

When describing the show, the Daily Telegraph said: “Absolutely fantastic, bringing the entire audience roaring to its feet.”

So, expect a soulful introspective dip into Hazel’s stunning portfolio, the old and the new.

Leader of the Council, Sandie Webb, said: “It is fantastic to see musicians of this standard coming to Chippenham. We are starting to see more national and international artists coming to the Neeld and it is a real asset to the town.”
