Margo’s astounding debut record ‘Midwest Farmer’s Daughter’ was one of the albums of 2016, and received wide critical acclaim upon its release earlier this year. Margo headlined her biggest UK show to date at Scala in September, with sold out shows at the Social and Borderline earlier in the year already under her belt.
After failing to find a break while gigging in Nashville, Margo and her husband sold everything they owned to fund the recording of ‘Midwest Farmers Daughter’ at the legendary Sun Studio on Memphis. Once again, Nashville failed to take notice of this extraordinary talent until Jack White’s Third Man Records stepped in to make Margo their first ever country signing.
