Bernie's bringing the blues

Former Whitesnake and eminent British Blues man, Bernie Marsden, comes to Arlington Arts Centre on Friday November 10.

Bernie was one of the founding members of Whitesnake, back before all the bouffant hair and power balladry – when they played stripped back, hard rocking blues.

In addition to his music career, Bernie has also provided soundtracks for several movie projects in Europe and the U.S. He was also the art director, producer, and author of the three part TV series, The Delta Blues 1926 - Urban Blues 1960.

He is widely regarded as an authority on the blues tradition and the music, as well as being among the UK’s best guitarists of the genre.

Classic Rock/Team Rock said: “Marsden, like Bonamassa and Rory Gallagher before him, has a style rooted in blues rock but not limited to it. This master craftsman is simply doing what comes naturally.”

Tickets are available for £22 online at www.arlingtonarts.co.uk, or by calling the Box Office at 01635 244246.

All profits from Arlington Arts Centre go directly to Mary Hare, a school and national charity supporting deaf children.
