A night watching the Kast of Kinks? I am in paradise

The Kast Off Kinks returns for another spectacular show at Arlington Arts on the Friday January 26.

The Kast off Kinks are actual former members of the legendary band ‘The Kinks’, back together playing great music and re-living the good times whilst keeping the songs alive that made The Kinks a household name.

The original drummer Mick Avory (who performed The Kinks classical hits back from mid 60s – mid 80s) is lined up with co-worker bassist/vocalist John Dalton (also performed in the Kinks 80s and 90s) and associate Ian Gibbons who plays the key/ vocals joined with the Kinks from the 80s and 90s and still performs with former member Ray Davies to this very day. As an addition Beach Boys member Dave Clarke will also be there rocking his guitar/vocals.

The Stables, Milton Keynes, said: “A full house, and a standing ovation. To anyone wondering about going, do not hesitate.”

The Kast Off Kinks troupe will be playing some of their greatest hits to liven up the atmosphere and keep the forgotten successes hits alive again. Some of these tunes include: You Really Got Me, along with Dedicated Follower of Fashion, Sunny Afternoon, Lola, Days, Waterloo Sunset, Come Dancing, finally All Day and All the Night.

Tickets are available for £20 online at www.arlingtonarts.co.uk, or by calling the Box Office at 01635 244246.

All profits from Arlington Arts Centre go directly to Mary Hare, a school and national charity supporting deaf children.
