This week's guests at Village Pump Friday are revealed

The Dovetail Trio head to The Lamb Inn for another session of Village Pump October 6.

This young trio is passionate about traditional music to which they bring a fresh and invigorating approach with some unusual versions of songs from these islands, America and Canada.

These three award winning musicians are Jamie Roberts, Rosie Hood and Matt Quinn who all sing and play with effortless ease, tight vocal harmonies and shear musical talent.

Rosie is no stranger to Wiltshire as this is the county where she grew up. She was a BBC Performing Arts Fellow in 2015 and a 2016 Horizon Award nominee at the Radio 2 Folk Awards.

Support comes from the equally talented Antoine and Owena. Antoine Architeuthis a skilled songwriter and bouzouki player and Owena Archer is a talented violinist. Together they are winners of the Purbeck Festival - Purbeck Rising Award.

There will be a limited number of floor spots at the start of the evening.

Doors open at 7.30 for 8.00pm start and tickets cost £10 on the door.

The next Open Mic night is on October 20.
