THE STRANGE CASE OF DR JEKYLL AND MR HYDE COMES TO CORN EXCHANGE NEWBURY

Blackeyed Theatre return to Newbury to bring a thrilling adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s dark psychological fantasy, The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, to the Corn Exchange Newbury from Thursday 10 to Saturday 12 March

Blackeyed Theatre is one of the UK’s leading touring theatre companies and revives its acclaimed adaptation of The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, for another UK tour. This production tells the classic story of Doctor Henry Jekyll and his new friend, the brutal Edward Hyde, and remains true to the spirit and themes of the original novel, while offering modern audiences one or two surprises, including a new, major female character.

Combining ensemble storytelling, physical theatre, movement and Nick Lane’s razor-sharp script, the performance immerses you in the myth and mystery of 19th century London’s fog-bound streets, where love, betrayal and murder lurk at every chilling twist and turn.

This gripping adaptation of The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde will be at the Corn Exchange Newbury, Thursday 10 – Saturday 12 March at 7.45pm. Tickets £18 (£17 concs). Suitable for ages 11+.
