The Story Museum turns up the heat with dragon day special

On treasure maps from days of old, you just might find the words ‘Here Be Dragons’, and whilst this may seem like something out of one of your favourite fantasy stories, at The Story Museum you might be forced to think again…

On Saturday April 28 the museum will be holding a Dragon Day with two brilliant author events.

It is only when he starts to notice other animals have clever tricks to calm down that Fergal begins to win back his friends, especially when he discovers dragons can cool off in a very handy way.

For older Dragon enthusiasts, Josh Lacey and Gary Parsons will be running an exciting creative writing and drawing session based on their hilarious book The Dragon Sitter’s Surprise. Eddie’s mum is getting remarried to Uncle Morton’s Scottish neighbour Gordon. But then Ziggy the dragon is stolen. It’s not long before Arthur is taken too. Eddie must track the thief down, rescue Uncle Morton’s dragons and get to the church on time…

Whether you’re looking for a great day out with the family, or you have a house full of inspiring young authors and illustrators, you won’t want to miss Dragon Day at The Story Museum.
