“HIGH & LOW”

Critically acclaimed Irish singer-songwriter - GEMMA HAYES - has announced shows in Oxford and Stroud for April 2023.

The artist is also set to release a new single “High & Low” taken from a long-awaited new album set for release later this year.

The much-loved musician released her debut album ‘Night On My Side’ in 2002, with the record gaining a Mercury Prize nomination as well as a win in the Best Female Artist category at the Hot Press Awards.

Since then, she has released four critically-acclaimed studio albums and a limited-edition live album, and her collaboration with Above & Beyond on “Counting Down The Days” achieved over 10 million streams and introduced Gemma to a new audience.

She has also recently contributed to the soundtrack for the upcoming film adaptation of Roddy Doyle’s ‘Greyhound of a Girl’, and her version of Chris Isaak’s “Wicked Game” (recorded for the US hit TV series ‘Pretty Little Liars’) has gained over 21 million streams on Spotify alone.

After taking a little time out to raise a family in West Cork, Gemma is now working on a new album which she describes as “deconstructed folk-pop”. With “High & Low” arriving as the first single, the record is set for release later this year.

As she gears up to release brand new music, Gemma will be heading to Oxford and Stroud this April. Full dates and details below.
