Shoebox Theatre to help young actors audition for Drama School

The Shoebox Theatre is offering a subsidised workshop on how to approach auditioning and what to expect, Saturday November 11.

This workshop will enable young actors to approach their auditions with confidence – it’s ideal for those who would like to kick-start their audition preparation or who are considering Drama School or University in the future.

The workshop will include the opportunity to gain insight from a recent graduate of East 15 Acting School; find out what the audition process is like from a successful 2017 auditionee and a session on how to approach and prepare for an audition led by Luke Marquez, Artistic Director of the Shoebox Theatre.

Luke said: “Auditioning can be a daunting process for some, and it can be difficult to know where to start! We want to help young actors in and around Swindon to reach their potential and ensure they have the tools they need to approach auditions.”

The workshop, which is suitable for ages 16+, costs £5 and takes place on Saturday November 11, 10am to 1pm at the Shoebox Theatre.
