Oxford Playhouse to kick start critically acclaimed 'Othello' national tour

Oxford Playhouse’s first 80th Anniversary Season co-production, Othello, opens at Oxford Playhouse on Tuesday 18 September before embarking on a national tour.

Following a critically-acclaimed tour and London run, the revival of Richard Twyman’s production of Othello is brought to the stage by UK Theatre Award-winners English Touring Theatre in a co-production with Oxford Playhouse and Shakespeare at the Tobacco Factory.

The first co-production in Oxford Playhouse’s 80th Anniversary Season, Victor Oshin makes his professional theatre debut as the title character, with the full cast to be announced shortly.
