Mantonfest 2018

Don’t miss out on Manton Fest this weekend!

MantonFest 2018 is a music festival based in the village of Manton just outside Marlborough. Every year, its aim is to provide a fun-filled family day out whilst raising money for local charities and community causes. Run entirely by volunteers, the festival has grown steadily from its humble beginnings seven years ago; now featuring mainstream acts as well as the cream of local bands.

Last year saw the festival welcome Toyah as its headline act; this year MantonFest plays host to Katrina (of the Waves fame), The Swinging Blue Jeans and John Coughlan’s Quo as well as top tribute band Whole Lotta Led.  Local bands include Barrelhouse, Skedaddle, Empty Gestures, Harry Miller and Ed Witcomb as well as interval entertainment from Emily’s Pole Fitness dancers.

This year the festival takes place on June 30 with gates opening at 12.00 and the last band finishing around 23.15.  There is free parking in the field and camper vans are welcome to stay overnight. Tickets are available at a reduced rate if purchased prior to the day itself.  An adult ticket will cost £20 (£25 on the day) and children 7-15 get in for just £5.  Under 7s are free.  Well behaved dogs on leads are allowed.  There is a wide variety of food and drink vendors attending the festival, catering for all tastes.

MantonFest tickets can be purchased via their website: www.mantonfest.co.uk and you can keep up to date with last minute news on their Facebook and Instagram feeds: https://www.facebook.com/Mantonfest/
