Kepow! Theatre Company is back at Pegasus with On The Edge!, a comedy show in their ever popular, signature improv style. Kevin Tomlinson and guests confound the audience with a range of characters, stories and punchlines on 12 November.

Essentially a comedy - with touching moments in it - On The Edge! premiered at the Edinburgh Festival where it garnered five star reviews. Since then it has been seen at over 300 venues across the UK and had sell-out performances all over the world, including Canada, USA, Hong Kong and New Zealand.

The show, which is suitable for all ages from 6 upwards, explores all those moments in life when we are on the edge. Falling in love, leaving home, getting a job, bungee jumping, you name it, this show explores it.

Formed in 1991, Kepow are now recognised as one of Europe’s leading improvisation-based theatre companies and one of Britain’s funniest. Over the past 14 years Kepow have produced 18 shows and have, in the process, won many awards, including the Sunday Times Playwright Award.

Kevin Tomlinson is now recognised as one of the UK’s leading comic improvisers. His career took off in 1999 when he performed alongside the cast of¬†Whose Line Is It Anyway?¬†at the Hackney Empire in a charity comedy show. Since then his improvisation shows have toured the world - to great critical acclaim.

On The Edge!¬†had its world premiere at last year’s Edinburgh Festival, before touring to Canada in October. It follows hot on the heels of¬†The Game of Love, which recently finished touring the UK after 75 performances. Kepow’s style is a more dramatically satisfying and funnier version of¬†Whose Line Is It Anyway?¬†based on stories from audience member’s lives and Kevin’s own life.
