Former Icicle Works frontman Ian McNabb to perform at Arlington Arts

Former Icicle Works frontman Ian McNabb is set to perform at Arlington Arts on Saturday 08 September 2018.

Ian McNabb first rose to prominence with The Icicle Works when they scored two major hit singles ‘Birds Fly (Whisper to a Scream)’ (Top forty US) and ‘Love is a Wonderful Colour’ (Top twenty UK). Their eponymously titled debut album was also a hit on both sides of the Atlantic, achieving gold record status in Canada.

One of the great singer/songwriters to emerge from the ‘80s Liverpool music scene, Ian has on to enjoy a critically-acclaimed solo career. The Mercury Music Prize-nominated artist continues to write stunning songs with warmth, humour, cynicism and grandeur.
