After a landmark festival return in 2022 following almost three years away, Flow Festival Helsinki is set for another unforgettable festival experience in 2023 - announcing a first wave of names set to soundtrack a stunning weekend in one of Europe’s most forward-thinking and celebrated cities. 
                               
                                Bringing together a programme of international superstars, cult legends, indie favourites and multiple special shows - it’s a true gem of the global festival calendar. Making her long-awaited return to Flow, FKA twigs is primed to bring her incredible live show to the festival - celebrating a true visionary of modern culture. Blending performance, genres and a trailblazing presence, FKA twigs has become one of the defining artists of the past decade - scooping NME’s Godlike Genius award earlier this year and receiving vast acclaim for latest mixtape ‘CAPRISONGS’. Underneath Helsinki skies, it’s a perfect home for the next creative evolution of FKA twigs. Another force at the forefront of modern pop, Caroline Polachek heads to Flow in 2023 fresh from a whirlwind few years that has seen Caroline emerge as one of the most must-see artists of recent times. With hotly anticipated new album ‘Desire, I Want To Turn Into You’ landing in February - expect Caroline Polachek to be the talk of the festival. 

 

Spanning across some of the most influential voices in culture, Flow is a perfect melting pot of generations and thrilling creatives. A true cult phenomenon that sit as one of the most influential and original bands of the past 50 years, DEVOwill take to the stage at Flow Festival Helsinki for one of the iconic group’s final ever performances. Bidding farewell in 2023, their undeniable world of pop culture and innovative art-pop / rock has blazed a trail across the globe - with Flow Festival Helsinki offering that opportunity to catch true musical greats one last time. 
                               
                                With the ability to catch pioneers and influential greats across genres, eras and styles all at Flow Festival Helsinki - it becomes a weekend full of celebration and discovery of artists at the very top of their game. Revolutionising British music during one of its most prolific eras, Suede stand as a band refusing to sit still. With a rich catalogue that jumps between alternative glam rock, Britpop, art-rock and more all lead by the iconic Brett Anderson - Suede’s appearance at Flow is one aimed squarely at stealing the show. Irresistible London sensation Shygirl brings her club-infused world to Flow after a storming 2022 that has seen her celebrated as one of the most exciting artists in underground music, whilst rabble rousing punk rippers Amyl And The Sniffers are sure to leave the Flow crowd in awe with the sort of explosive live takeover that leaves everything on the stage. Rightfully scooping Album Of The Year picks for their brilliant debut album ‘I Love You Jennifer B’, Jockstrap are primed to be an act not to miss at Flow in 2023 with their daring and forward-thinking blend of electronica and the alternative fitting perfectly at home in Helsinki - likewise 070 Shake whose relentless creativity has seen her emerge as a new voice the world can’t help but pay attention to. At every turn, another trailblazing artist finds their home at Flow Festival 2023 - with a lineup packed with critically acclaimed and leading music no matter the genre or style.

 

Flow Festival not only brings together some of the most exciting artists from across the globe, but also celebrates the thriving Finnish music scene that continues to innovate and grow as one the world should be watching. New-wave rapper Sexmane and Finnish Afro-trap pioneer Ege Zulu performing with a live band will bring their own artistic brilliance to the festival whilst the chart-topping Olavi Uusivirta brings a new show to the festival in Olavi Uusivirta 40/20, celebrating the 20th anniversary of his debut album ‘ Nuoruustango’ and his own 40th birthday. With the likes of Yona (performing at the festival with a full symphonic orchestra), award-winning pop artist Anna Puu (performing a special show tailored specifically for Flow’s Main Stage) and the electro-pop goodness of Ruusut also announced - it ensures a vast mix showcasing the thrilling sounds of Finland that help shape one of Europe’s most forward-thinking and exciting cultures.
