Calling all creatives: SAE Oxford prepares for exciting new Open Event

Proud to be creative? SAE Oxford is gearing up for its upcoming Open Event on Thursday March 22.

SAE is a global creative media institution and has been operating globally for over 40 years now, providing excellent industry-standard education to thousands of students who have gone on to enjoy successful careers in their chosen industry. SAE teaches two-year accelerated degrees and short courses across six subject areas: Animation, Audio, Film, Games, Music Business and Web.

The Oxford campus is a large site based in Littlemore and truly is one of the city’s hidden gems. Boasting high-tech industry-standard studios, a green screen room as well as a range of impressive equipment and software, the campus hosts regular events with top industry professionals as well as recently introducing Live Lounge sessions with local music artists that the students record and mix themselves.

Through practice-based training using industry-standard facilities, SAE is the perfect place for creative individuals to nurture their talent, develop their skill set and become creative professionals. The proof really is in the pudding: SAE alumni are winners of BAFTAs, Grammys and Oscars with fantastic careers that are shaping the creative industries.

The SAE Oxford Open Event is a great opportunity for interested individuals to have a tour of the campus and get a closer look at the professional studios and equipment that students get access to. On top of this, expert tutors will be on hand to answer questions and provide an insight into the range of fantastic courses on offer, as well as imparting their valuable industry knowledge.

Richard Peirson, SAE Oxford Campus Manager said: “Attending the SAE Oxford Open Day provides an excellent opportunity to meet your future teaching staff, engage with current students who are on your programme and see the studios, animation lab, mac lab and teaching spaces that you can’t get any other way!

“Littlemore Park is an impressive building with plenty of space and ample parking, easily accessible on bus routes and an excellent setting to launch your journey onto an accelerated degree programme in one of our creative media specialisms.”
