He will follow up the video release with her debut album later this year.

Following an exclusive premiere of the track with Rolling Stone last week and early support from The Independent, The Line Of Best Fit and NOTION, Juls uncovers its accompanying video which dark, menacing and high on tension.

Directed by Ray Fiasco (Backroad Gee, Shakka, M Huncho, Kojey Radical, Young T & Bugsey, Aitch), the visual takes on the format of a narrative-based short film that is high on tension. It aims to denote a story that details lust, rage and a murderous crime of passion.

The new single succeeds Juls’ previous release ‘Wicked’ featuring Sam Wise, Knucks and Kadiata which received praise and support from outlets like Wonderland Magazine, GUAP, DUMMY, CRACK Magazine, District Magazine and Highsnobiety. Additionally, earlier in the year, Juls unearthed the melodic and reggae-inspired buzz track ‘Chance’ featuring Projexx and Tay Iwar.

A spokesperson for the single said: “Brimming with urgent and anthemic character, ‘Love Me’ is a full bodied and stadium-ready song with blistering horn lines that harken back to the funk and jazz-influenced sound of Afrobeat pioneers Fela Kuti and Tony Allen. The live instrumentation is nicely juxtaposed with contemporary percussion and Amapiano-inspired drum beats. Bringing the track together is a compelling and melodic vocal performance from Niniola who’s command of the track allows the song to soar thrillingly dramatic heights.”

Speaking on the track, Juls said: This record is  spiritual, so I’m very excited about it. Niniola is one of my favourite African artists so it’s an honour to have her bless me. I threw in some elements of South African Amapiano in there  too. It’s all about the global sound of Africa for me right now. It’s Africa to the world”
