Blue October confirms CocCo and the Butterfields as support for UK tour

Blue October, the Platinum-selling Texas-based band, are ‘Happy’ to announce that they will be joined by acoustic Indie-Pop favourites CocCo and the Butterfields when they return to the UK.

Blue October will visit Oxford’s O2 Academy, February 15, in support of their recently released ninth studio album I Hope You’re Happy’.

In the US, the album debuted #7 on the Billboard Album sales chart, whilst the title track peaked at #14 on the Alternative Singles chart. The band toured the UK to a rapturous reception in 2018 with dates including a triumphant O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire and cannot wait to return.

CoCo and the Butterfields are singer / songwriter Tom Twyman and singer and multi-instrumentalist Dulcima Showan. The pair are known for their exhilarating live shows and their inclusive, acoustic-based sound. Along the way they have appeared at Glastonbury, Isle of Wight Festival and Bestival and supported the likes of Bastille, The Fratellis, Scouting For Girls and Wheatus. With their upbeat sound and boundless energy, CoCo and the Butterfields are a fantastic live act and will support on all seven Blue October UK dates.

Known for its shimmering melodies and heart-string pulling lyrics, Blue October boasts a powerful line-up of fantastic musicians and one of the most emotionally charged and magnetic front men in music today in Justin Furstenfeld.  Blue October is Jeremy Furstenfeld (drums), Matt Noveskey (bass), Ryan Delahoussaye (violin and piano) and Justin Furstenfeld (guitar and vocals).
