Frankie Boyle; what more needs to be said about the black-hearted Scottish comedian.

He‚Äôs been terrorizing our screens and stages for years now, carving out his space amongst comedy‚Äôs greatest names. On the 11 December, he is coming back to Oxford’s New Theatre, and on the 3 February he will be coming to Salisbury’s City Hall,¬†so brace yourselves, because something wicked this way comes!

According to his website, ‚ÄòFrankie has written this new set not to tour, but as a response to Kendrick Lamar’s last album. After these stand-up performances the ball will very much be in Kendrick’s court‚Äô. Seems a rather odd premise for a comedy tour, but then again, what more would you expect.

His comedy has always been on the borderline between acceptably dark and absolutely horrific, things that you know you shouldn’t be laughing over. That’s all part of the man and the act though, and the intensely intelligent Boyle will no doubt bring his trademark sharpness and timing to Salisbury and Oxford, making crowds wince and laugh in equal measure.

This is a chance to see the master of mayhem up close and personal, and definitely not to be missed.
