Birmingham dream-pop trio JAWS are heading for The Bullingdon in Oxford this Thursday

Following the November release of the band’s blistering second record Simplicity, JAWS can now share the video for LP cut ‘Cast’ ahead of their appearance at The Bullingdon in Oxford on April 27.

The video turns the camera around on the feverish crowds, showcasing the electricity in the room of the shows on the band’s last UK run, as you can see above.

The new video works as the perfect primer for uninitiated fans wondering what to expect at the band’s upcoming UK dates. JAWS will appear at three headline dates, supported by Nottingham’s Kagoule, before making appearances at Hit the North, Live At Leeds and Handmade to see out April.

After nearly being brought crashing down to earth due to the rigours of a non-stop touring cycle, the band, refreshed from a period of down time, set to work meticulously piecing together the bones of a second record in their practice space, a haven away from the monotony of stagnant day jobs.

By taking their time constructing their art before airing in a live setting, Simplicity, produced by Gethin Pearson at Vale Studios, serves as a document to existing in the calm before a storm.
