Your January sorted with amazing events at Salisbury Playhouse

Tap-dancing, magic, comedy and drama will all feature at Salisbury Playhouse in January in a line-up that will bring the New Year in with a bang.

UK tap ensemble Old Kent Road will perform in The Salberg from January 11 to January 13 followed by the time-travelling magicians Morgan and West, also in The Salberg, from January 16 to January 20.

On Friday January 19 Griff Rhys Jones, star of Not the Nine O’Clock News and Three Men in a Boat, brings stand-up comedy to the Playhouse for an evening of stories, anecdotes and outright lies – from 40 years of travelling down rivers and up mountains, into Africa, out of India, and across the arid wastes of the BBC canteen.

On Monday January 22 a touring production of A Passage to India opens, based on the classic novel by EM Forster. Theatre company simple8 has adapted one of the greatest novels of the twentieth century and reimagined it for contemporary Britain. A Passage to India runs until Saturday January 27.

Tickets are on sale now and can be booked by calling Ticket Sales on 01722 320333 or by visiting www.salisburyplayhouse.com.
