Watching a theatre performance in the open air is a great way to while away those long Summer days - and with a wealth of performances on offer around Ocelotshire, you are spoilt for choice. Sense and Sensibility – Thursday July 12, 7pm Venue: Arundells, Salisbury

Adapted by award-winning writer Laura Turner, this exquisite and lively tale follows sisters Elinor and Marianne Dashwood as they fall in love, make mistakes and experience heartbreak for the first time.

The Adventures of Doctor Dolittle to Tuesday July 17, 7.30pm

Venue: Marlborough College, Marlborough

The Importance of being Earnest – Friday July 20 to 7pm to 10pm Venue: Lydiard Park, Swindon

It is a farcical comedy in which the protagonists maintain fictitious persona to escape burdensome social obligations.
