Video: David Walliams brings his bestselling book 'Awful Auntie' to the stage

Next month the comedian, writer, and actor David Walliams will be debuting his latest production ‘Awful Auntie’ in Reading.

From the award-winning producers of Gangsta Granny comes an endearing and enchanting theatre production by The Birmingham Stage Company.

Adapted from Walliams’ bestselling book Awful Auntie, will be hitting stages on its world tour including The Hexagon, Reading, from July 11 to July 15.

“When Stella sets off to visit London with her parents, Lord and Lady Saxby, she has no idea her life is in danger! Waking up three months later, only her Aunt Alberta can tell Stella what has happened. But not everything Aunt Alberta tells her turns out to be true and Stella quickly discovers she’s in for the fight of her life against her very own awful Auntie.”
