VicFest takes over The Victoria in Swindon this Bank Holiday weekend and almost every local band is going to be there! COUNT US IN!

If you’re struggling to think of ways to get your musical fix during the coming bank holiday weekend (which you really shouldn’t be if you check out our events section) then VicFest might just be the answer you’re looking for.

Over four days, from April 13, the team at The Victoria are bringing you the very best local bands from across multiple genres, offering literally something for every music fan in the land.

The opening night on Thursday April 13 is dedicated to all those crazy pop punk folk that just want to jump around to some driving guitars all night. And that’s exactly what’s in store as Post12 headline a killer lineup that also features The Unguarded, GETZ and Melophobia.

Then the hard chargers come to party on the Friday night when A Way With Words head up the Alt/Indie/Rock night with powerful, punchy rock. Plummie and The Dicemen, Let’s Swim, Get Swimming and Raze*Rebuild will be warming you up and providing their truly incredible and varied tunes that is sure to create one hell of a party atmosphere.

Saturday night is bound to be just as big as the Ska, reggae and alternative groups get their chance to shine at The Vic. CrazyTown headline a night of crazy dancing and even crazier tunes (they are a little unhinged apparently) with SN Dubstation and The Nomarks adding to the sheer brilliance of this Saturday night skankathon.

And then the whole weekender will come to a teutonic end as the Swindon aural juggernaut that is All Ears Avow bulldoze their way back on to The Victoria’s stage. If you thought the weekend sounded massive up to this point, prepare yourself for a force like no other, as Heriot, Ghost of Machines and Serafine will be bound to blow you away with their individual walls of noise. Rock fans should be front and centre all night long.
