UK’s leading Bublé tribute act comes to Newbury for unmissable sing-a-long

Greenham Trust, working in partnership with Visit Newbury is bringing a festive, musical extravaganza to Newbury this Christmas!

The Newbury Christmas Sing-Along, featuring the UK’s leading Bublé tribute act, local choirs and the Cold Ash Brass band will take place in the town’s Market Place on Friday December 14.

With opportunities for everyone to sing-along to their Christmas favourites, the event is the perfect way for the whole community to get into the Christmas spirit. Local choirs will perform seasonal songs throughout the town centre, and then come together for the traditional and powerful 1000 Voices rendition of the 12 Days of Christmas.

“We are thrilled to have the support of local music teachers, Nic and Sarah Cope. They are working with the local school choirs to help the children practise the carols before performing for the community,” said Chris Boulton, Chief Executive of Greenham Trust.

We are also pleased to welcome the award-winning Cold Ash Brass band – the perfect festive accompaniment to our musical extravaganza. And the event wouldn’t be complete without the sounds of Bublé, so we are particularly delighted that the grand finale is the UK’s leading Bublé tribute act, Ultimate Bublé.”

The event starts in The Market Place at 18:00, ends at 21:00 and is free for the whole community to participate in. Festive refreshments will be available for all, while younger children can add some funfair magic to their evening.

“We are delighted to be partnering with Greenham Trust to make this Christmas event fantastic for the community,” said Russell Downing of Newbury BID.

Everyone is welcome, and no booking is required, simply register your interest in attending the event on Facebook. We look forward to seeing you in your festive jumpers and hats and hearing your voices at Newbury’s first Christmas Sing-Along.”
