Tickets for The Door have gone on sale at the Shoebox Theatre in Swindon, promising audiences a thrilling, dark piece of innovative theatre to get their heads around.

Six strangers awaken to find themselves locked in a windowless room with no means of escape but a single door, hence the name.

When their unseen captor gives them a choice; stay in the room or go through the door into the unknown, tensions run high as the group each try to persuade the others of their views, byt can they really work together when they’re already so divided?

The Door is the theatre debut for Swindon writer and director Alex Secker, a psychological thriller about division, paranoia and human interaction and takes place at the Shoebox on May 12.

Tickets will be £10 and the show is suitable for 14+
