This is New Music by Mark Muggeridge

After a number of years busking in her adopted home of Berlin, Alice Phoebe Lou was thrust somewhat suddenly into the limelight late last year thanks to an appearance at a TEDx event. The invitation to perform came almost on a whim so the story goes from a doctor who was attending the event. The video of her solo performance has been shared far and wide and justly so for it is compelling. Originally from Kommetjie, South Africa, Alice has taken the path of nomadic troubadour as she’s shaped her unique enchanting style of delivery. As all of this might suggest it’s her live performances that are converting listeners into avid fans. She’s recently been supporting Milky Chance in Berlin and had official showcase shows at SXSW but it was her 6th Street busking appearances in Austin that are currently causing the most reverberation across the internet. Such was her popularity on 6th Street that a passing Austin police officer closed the show down. London shows are still being confirmed however if you are heading to either 2000 Trees or Secret Garden Party in July then add Alice Phoebe Lou to your list of must see performances.
