The Voice UK is coming to Swindon's Level III

ITV’s The Voice UK is coming to Swindon for an open mic night at Level III to spot talent for their 2018 series.

Soloists or duos can turn up on the night or book a place beforehand. More information on the Level III website. The evening entertainment show typified by celebrities in spinning chairs and performers singing their hearts out to win a record deal with Universal Music is making a stop off in the Wiltshire town for a free-to-enter open mic night, in one of the town’s most renowned music venues.

Guzzle down a beer or two and enjoy some of the region’s sparkling talent or pop along for a chance to be on one of the UK’s biggest television shows yourself. Performers are allowed to bring a backing track, guitar or keyboard but are advised to keep their performances at no longer than 5 minutes.

You must be 16 years of age on October 1 2017 to be eligible to enter. All participants on the night agree to be filmed by ITV for the purposes of The Voice UK. The appearance of The Voice at Level III marks yet another exciting event in a series of coups for the 350 capacity music club, formerly known as The Furnace. The last month saw them play host to Mark Chadwick of The Levellers and punk legends UK SUBS.

May sees the venue welcome rising pop punk stars Boston Manor for a night celebrating the great and good of modern alternative music. You can find Level III at 73 Commercial Road in the town centre of Swindon. Doors will open at 19:00 on May 5. Entrants can arrive as late as 22:30 for performances.
