The Unravelling Wilburys take over Swindon's Level 3 this Saturday celebrating a supergroup that featured George Harrison, Bob Dylan and more

The Unravelling Wilbury’s, Southern England’s premier tribute to one of the greatest supergroups ever (The Travelling Wilburys), will be performing at Swindon’s Level 3 this Saturday March 11.

After extensively touring their highly successful Beatles project for 21 years - Sgt Pepper’s Only Dart Board Band - the band was retired and a new group was raised, not quite from the ashes, but with all original members still intact.

So, loins stirred and plectrums at the ready, The Unravelling Wilburys have emerged! The band will take you on a tour of all things best of The Travelling Wilburys, replicating the sounds and songs of this particular supergroup from the late 80’s. Adorned with five of the most famous names in rock history; George Harrison, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, Jeff Lynne and Tom Petty.

The group will be performing a collection of the bands more well known tracks, such as ‘The Devils Been Busy’ and ‘Handle With Care’ as well as solo stuff from Bob Dylan (‘Hey Mr Tambourine Man’, ‘Make You Feel My Love’) and the other original members, all presented with the band’s inimitable style and humour.

Support will be provided by talented Wiltshire singer-songwriter Mike Barham (yes I’m aware I’m the one writing this), whose eclectic set of his own original tracks should need no introduction. As he isn’t sunning it up drinking pina coladas with Robbie Williams in Miami (at least not yet) we’ve been lucky enough to book him for this show.

Tickets are available from the Level III website: https://www.musicglue.com/leveliii/events/2017-03-11-the-unravelling-wilburys-plus-mike-barham-level-iii
