Wychwood Festival have announced that The Strypes will play main stage on Sunday. Joining them will be InHeaven, The Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band, Bunny, Stevie Parker, Cabbage, Yonaka, Murray Lachlan Young and making this years line-up the most diverse yet. The Hobgoblin stage have also added The Black Feathers, Sandtimer, Lucas & King, Aaron Keylock and more. Wychwood Festival takes place 2nd - 4th June on the stunning grounds of Cheltenham Racecourse, with the likes of OMD, The Levellers and Buzzcocks already announced and more still to come. Wychwood Festival announce that The Strypes will be taking to their main-stage. The four-piece Irish rock band started playing together before they were even teenagers, relentlessly gigging around Ireland and quickly becoming the hottest ticket in any town. Taking inspiration from the likes of Elvis Costello, The Stones, The Jam and many more, The Strypes will be debuting their no-nonsense blues repertoire to festival-goers. 

Joining them will be ‘Ones to Watch’ InHeaven echoing the sounds of 90’s grunge as well as debuting tracks such as ‘Regeneration’ and ‘Treats’. BBC Radio 6 Music’s resident poet Murray Lachlan Young will also be on-site with loaded with poem’s on hugely diverse subject matters. The Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band also join the main stage with a spectacular celebration taking to the main stage with vibrant, colourful lifestyle and enchanting beats.

Hotly-tipped new band Cabbage will be headlining the Smashing Blouses stage on Sunday with their semi rebellious - but ultimately meaningful punk anthems, also joining them explosive psychedelic rock The Shimmer Band. Rising Bristol Star Stevie Parker bringing her ambient electro pop to Wychwood alongside Bunny and Yonaka.  

The Hobgoblin Stage also adds a whole host of acts, Saturday Headliner Arron Keylock, The Prohibition Smokers, musical duo The Black Feathers, The Black Hats, Oxford band Deadbeat Apostles, Sandtimer, acoustic country Paul McClure and The Local Heroes, George Montague, Newton Country, Society, folk duo Lucas & King as well as The Brickwork Lizards, Wes Finch, Peerless Pirates, The Epstein, Holly Redford-Jones. 

They will all be joining the already announced Buzzcocks, Levellers, OMD, Billy Bragg, Zac Abel, Let’s Eat Grandma and many more for confirmed for 2017, making Wychwood one of the most unmissable events of the Summer.
