The Little Unsaid will be singing volumes in Newbury

Following the release of their critically acclaimed album ‘Imagined Hymns & Chaingang Mantras’, The Little Unsaid will be playing at Arlington Arts Centre in Newbury September 28.

The Little Unsaid’s emotionally-charged performances have been described as recalling the intensity of Nick Cave and melancholic overtones of Leonard Cohen, from within a cinematic and contemporary sound world that intertwines electronica, alt-folk, jazz and string arrangements.

Recorded in Oxford with long-time Jonny Greenwood collaborator and Radiohead engineer Graeme Stewart, the album is an immersive, introspective listen, mining some of the darkest pools of human experience for fragments of hope, light and even romance.

After receiving the Steve Reid InNOVAtion Award for boundary-pushing new music creators, the band have been mentored by the likes of Four Tet and Gilles Peterson throughout their ongoing 2017 tours. With a packed-out performance at this year’s Glastonbury Festival behind them, The Little Unsaid now continue their UK album launch tour this September.

Tickets: £12.00.

Show begins at 8pm. Doors to the auditorium usually open around 7.45pm, with the bar open from around 7pm.
