The Shoebox Theatre in Swindon has three very different shows coming up in the next few weeks, but they all have one thing in common - they are all new works created by local writers and theatre makers.

First up on Friday May 12 is The Door written by Alex Secker, a psychological thriller about division, paranoia and human interaction. Tickets are on sale now from £10.

Next on May 20 and 21 is Sentimental Hearts, two interlinking plays written and directed by award winning playwright Adam Thorn. Tickets are £12.50.

And to finish off the month on May 27, enter the 8-Bit world of Super Hamlet 64 by Edward Day. A one person, physical theatre, spoken word mix of Shakespearean tragedies and video gaming with clowning, mime, live music, retro animation and video projection, exploring mental health and our addiction to technology. Tickets are £10.
