SAE Oxford’s talented students prepare to showcase their work to welcome guests

On Wednesday April 11, the SAE Oxford campus will welcome industry professionals, school partners, alumni, friends and family as their talented students showcase their exceptional work.

Transforming from its day-to-day hub of lectures and workshops, the campus will become a museum of the finest work that students have created over the past year. As guests walk through the large listed building, they will see and hear short films, audio projects, 3D animation work, video game demos, amongst many other fascinating student creations.

This annual event is a celebration of the high-level, industry-standard quality of work that gets produced at the leading creative media education institution. It also provides a great networking opportunity for both students and local industry professionals: students can demonstrate their industry-standard skills and professionals can meet a pool of budding creatives ready to make a mark in their respective industry.

Richard Peirson, Campus Manager said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for the local Creative Media industry to visit the SAE Institute Campus and meet first-hand our talented students at a key stage of their education and development.

“The standard of student work is excellent and this event provides an opportunity for our students to showcase their work to key Oxfordshire stakeholders and for the local industry to have the option to have input and shape the students’ progress.”

Keith Hennigan, Audio Production Programme Coordinator added: “The student showcase is a chance for SAE to celebrate our students and the excellent work they produce each term; it’s also a fantastic opportunity for the students to take pride in their work, and to start seeing themselves as creative industry professionals.”

The event will take place at SAE Institute, Littlemore Park, Armstrong Road, Littlemore, OX4 4FY, from 2pm to 8pm.
