Rufus Wainwright and his team at DHP Family have released the following statement regarding his 2021 UK Autumn tour:
“Due to the ongoing pandemic and all the concerns that come with touring as an international artist in the current circumstances we have decided to focus Rufus’ upcoming UK tour to a shorter period. It was important for Rufus to stick to his commitment to come to the UK and bring Unfollow the Rules to his fans there who are among his most loyal and supportive in the world. We are sorry for all the fans who bought tickets to shows that are cancelled. You can seek a refund from your point of purchase. We hope that you decide to purchase a ticket for one of the remaining shows. Rest assured that all shows are going to be amazing and will follow the strictest Covid protocols. Rufus and everyone in his crew and band are vaccinated, and the safety of his fans at concerts is of the utmost importance.”
The following shows on Rufus’ UK tour are cancelled and tickets can be refunded from the point of purchase: Southampton, Newcastle, Liverpool, London Palladium (18th October - tickets remain valid for 19th October), Exeter, Birmingham, Oxford and Cardfiff.
