Oxford's first Artisan Distillery ready to open this weekend!

The Oxford Artisan Distillery (TOAD) will be holding an open day at its site at Old Depot, Cheney Lane, Oxford this coming Sunday September 24.

The gates will be open from 11am to 5pm and Founder Tom Nicolson and Master Distiller Cory Mason will be on hand to show visitors around Oxford’s first ever distillery. This is a very special behind-the-scenes opportunity for local Oxford residents and, as Tom says: “It’s a celebration of TOAD’s stonking good start since our opening in July. “We are deeply grateful for the very warm reception that Oxford has given to the distillery since launch – so we thought we would fling our doors open and say come along, meet the team and have a good look around the City’s first and only craft distillery” Classic cars owners from the Morgan Sports Car Club and from the Iffley Motor Club will be showing their cars during the day and there will be a raffle in aid of TOAD’s chosen charity Response. Sour dough pizza, beer from local breweries and TOAD G&T’s, cocktails and bottles of TOAD’s Oxford Dry Gin and Oxford Rye Vodka will be available and for sale on the site from midday. The event is free, but all the gents ask is that you register online which you can do HERE.
