It's a flippin' miracle - 'Alby the Penguin Saves Christmas' comes to Oxford

Oxford Playhouse are getting in the festive spirit with a charming tale filled with penguin puppetry and family fun.

Oxford Playhouse’s festive family show Alby the Penguin Saves Christmas comes to the Burton Taylor Studio from Thursday December 6 to Saturday January 5.

This enchanted production is full of music, puppetry and the very special snow-white penguin Alby who, after being cast out of his group finds himself wandering the South Pole all alone.

Alone and frightened, Alby comes across a list of gifts that Father Christmas seems to have left behind in the snow, determined to make sure Christmas goes off without a hitch Alby must get the list back to its owner.

Written and directed by Helen Eastman, who has written and directed the Burton Taylor Studio’s trilogy of Christmas shows for little ones: Dear Father Christmas, Father Christmas and the Icicle Bicycle and Hurry Up, Father Christmas, this charming production is the perfect Christmas treat for children aged 3 to 6 years and their families.
