Overseas talent added to up and coming Oxford festival line-up

Ritual Union festival has announced another batch of artists coming to Oxford in October, including Glastonbury Festival Emerging Artist award winner, She Drew The Gun.

The third anniversary of this festival, brings new artists from across the globe, including Japanese alternative rock act Bo Ningen and Aussie newcomers Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, who are one to watch out for this year.

However, there is also an array of home-grown Oxfordshire talent performing, such as Candy Says, Knobblehead, Lee Riley, Max Blansjaar and Julia Meijer.

Julia Walker from Candy Says, said: “Being asked to play Ritual Union is pretty special as it’s fast become a huge event, with so many incredible artists coming from across the UK to perform. We can’t wait to get on stage. It’s going to be EPIC.”

They join a line-up that already boasts such talent as Teleman, local legends Young Knives and Mercury nominated The Comet is Coming.
