Multi-award winning comedian Marcus Brigstocke to play Corn Exchange in Autumn

Multi-award winning comedian, Marcus Brigstocke, will launch the September season at the Corn Exchange Newbury with his latest stand up show, Devil May Care.

The show which will see Marcus performing as Milton’s fallen angel Lucifer from Paradise Lost, asks the questions, what is good and what is bad. And will be Brigstocke’s first character-driven stand up show.

Embracing the role, Marcus shared how he will be dressed up for the occasion: “I’ll be fully devilled up, complete with horns, tail and malevolent grin. I want to explore the nature of good and bad. Do good people do bad things with good intentions? Is anyone truly wicked? Are any of us wholly good?”

The comedian who holds an impressive list of TV credits including appearances on Live At The Apollo, Have I Got News For You and QI. Features regularly on BBC Radio 4 with both his own written work and panel show performances.

Devil May Care will be showing on Thursday September 6, 8pm at The Corn Exchange.
