100 million-selling pop superstar Lionel Richie is the first artist confirmed for next year’s Nocturne Live concert series, which returns to Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire from June 18th to 21st 2020.

The Oscar, Golden Globe and Grammy-winning singer, famed for a vast array of huge international hits including “Endless Love”, “Lady”, “All Night Long”, “Stuck on You”, “Hello”, “Say You, Say Me” and “Dancing On The Ceiling”, will bring his inimitable live show to the 10,000-capacity Great Court at Blenheim Palace on Saturday June 20th 2020.

Lionel Richie:

I’m really looking forward to heading back to the UK and Europe next summer, the crowds are some of the best in the world and I can’t wait to get back over there to see you all!”

Nocturne Director Ciro Romano:

Improving on last year’s event was never going to be easy but we feel like we’ve taken a big step towards achieving that by confirming Lionel Richie as our first headliner for 2020. He’s a bona fide music legend and having him perform his huge catalog of much-loved songs at Blenheim Palace is going to be a really special occasion.

The Nocturne Live concert series, which since its inception in 2015 has featured performances from the likes of Elton John, Kylie Minogue, Gary Barlow, Nile Rodgers, Noel Gallagher, Gregory Porter, Van Morrison, Tears for Fears, Gladys Knight, Elvis Costello and Ennio Morricone amongst others, runs from June 18th to 21st 2020. More names will be announced in due course.
