The wonderful Katy J Pearson heads the bill alongside synth-noise duo AK/DK, and Leeds-based outfit, English Teacher. Also on the bill are King Nun and Tik Tok stars The Rills who recently played the BBC Introducing Stage at Reading and Leeds Festival.
More artists previously announced to be featuring on the line-up, are The Rills, Little Brother Eli, Tracks & Grooves DJ, Zoe-Anne DJ, Rum & Donuts DJ, The Richard Meehan Trio, Free House, Mona Vale and Premium Leisure.
The festival’s team say they are also excited to announce the first ever Comedy Stage at the Upstage Mini Cinema at Reading’s Roseate Hotel. The stage will see performances from Alex Farrow and Chelsea Kirby.
A spokesperson for the festival said: “This announcement bolsters a line-up that is already bursting with talent, including alternative piano rocker BC Camplight; exciting folk-pop singer-songwriter Billie Marten; the refreshingly direct Billy Nomates; dance DJ duo Freestylers DJ and many more!”
Are You Listening Festival raises money for the local Learning Disability charity, Reading Mencap, and has raised nearly £70,000 for the charity since starting in 2013.
The festival is also proud to be partnered with Safe Gigs For Women, supporting their work to combat harassment in live music.
